It all started in Laguna Beach circa 1976 with an idea, fantastic tacos and a reason to party. But on a Tuesday? Everyone thought we were crazy to offer a bar promotion during the week, but we knew better.
With as much beer and tequila we could hold in the tiny restaurant
on the Pacific Coast Highway the first Taco Tuesday patrons were delighted to find our tacos were exactly the same as “off the menu”
but only $.50! What a deal!
They packed the tiny Cantina, and the party atmosphere at
Tortilla Flats’ Taco Tuesday has grown ever since.

Then in December of 1983, our Mission Viejo Restaurant opened
right on Lake Mission Viejo. Quickly we realized that Taco Tuesday was going to be a huge event every week with the lakeside patios waiting to be filled with guests enjoying our famous tacos. We added a Taco Bar right in front of the Cantina and Tacos are now sold every Tuesday
for $1.00 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM. After 5:00 PM you must be
21 or older to partake in Taco Tuesday.

Now we have a DJ and dancing every Tuesday night starting at 7:00PM with drink specials to help satisfy the diverse crowd of guests. So come and enjoy the festivities every Tuesday and always remember ….
